Laid out the RHS and built up the baggage compartment attached to it and also the parts forward of that. Riveted on the extrusion on the top of the right side. (The plan is to have the extrusions riveted to the bottom and attach the sides as it lays flat on the workbench. Then the upper extrusions will already be on the sides ready for the top to be added.) This was slow tedious work as each drilled hole had to be backed manually and there was no place to put clamps to hold the parts. All this was deburred and treated with zinc oxide. Parts were rivited in place.
There is a holder for a control rod which goes across the fuselage. These holders attach to the sides of the airframe and these were prepared ready to rivet to the sides. One must not rivet both before installation or the rod could not be put in them.
The RHS was then set aside and the LHS set up to do the same thing with it. The parts from the two sides will then meet in the middle upon assembly.
This was a lot of work but as it ended there were no interesting things to photo. The parts are off to be deburred.
