Brief Description:  Boyd built 2 great 6x3 workbenches. Slats.

This includes activity on 2/22/09 as well as 2/23/09. There was no activity 2/21/09. Of these hours 1.5 were Carole's. About 15 hours by Boyd is not counted as he did not work directly on the airplane. Instead he built two very useful and beautiful workbenches. See Figure 1.

I also built a stand to safely hold the 4 wing slat sections. I made it out of the plywood top to one of the Zenith crates.

The main activity was Boyd's visit and his great job of building the 2 workbenches which join to form a 12x3. The height I chose was 37.5 inches. See photos of benches.

With Carole's help we got the left and last slat section drilled for A4 and celdo'd ready to take apart and treat for corrosion in the next session.

The final crate from Zenith arrived. It was over 13 feet long, 3 high and 4 across and said to weigh 800 lbs. Boyd helped me bring it home by holding up the rear gate of my utility trailer with chains and sliding it it with the Yellow Truck forklift. We emptied it at home by inventoring it, then pulled it off the trailer. The trailer was filled with the paper packing materials.
