Work continued to finish the left wing. This included putting in the fuel tank, the pitot tube and the wing tip light. All these were connected to the inboard section with tubing and wires. The leading edge was folded around and riveted to the top side and the wing completed.

Work began on the struts so as to be ready when the wings are installed. I borrowed a couple of wing support stands from Than Nagle of the local EAA to help support the wings when they are ready to install. The DVD from Homebuilt Help is very helpful.

I had Roger from Ace hardware cut the top Lexan sheet to size (marked when in place.) It has been drilled and clico'd and then removed so as to treat the metal surfaces under it. I will use paint with the authentic color of pre-WW-II and WW-II naval aircraft. It is called Interior Green and is a yellowish green color. I got the reference from an article in Aviation History Magazine and then got a sample from the model aircraft shop in St George, UT. I then had Ace Hardware mix primer and finish paint to match.
