...Rick Galati ,who has assembled and is flying an RV-6A non quick build and an RV-8 which is ready for flight offered to help me with the multitude of unfinished projects. Today we tackled the F-694 fairing which I unintentionally overheated trying for a better fit. Rick lined everything with packing tape, we mixed a batch of epoxy, some with microbaloons, and layered 3 BID glass over the area needing repair. The areas against the metal surfaces were filled with the micro mix for a nice fit after sanding and finalization.
