Brief Description: Drilling 3/8 hole thru F604 for panel access...
...Removed ELT bracket from sidewall and ground web where rudder cables might rub. Began drilling 3/8 inch holes for plactic bushings to run ELT phone line and possibly others to panel. Access is difficultfor drilling close to the sidewall and requires very long drill bits ao angle drills to start with a 30 drill. I drilled out one pop rivet on the F604 just in front of and under the armrest so the wires can be run without showing. I used a drill extender and couldn't have done the aft side of the F604 without it.
