...Reinstalling flywheel, alternator, intake manifold. Flywheel reinstalled and torqued, and clearance between the magnets and sensor tested and within acceptable limits. Intake manifold reinstalled, torqued and fuel rails reinstalled. The fuel injector o-rings were oiled and the Oetiker clamps reinstalled on the pilot side. The alternator was reinstalled after the mounting bolt hole was reemed out so that the mounting stud would screw further in to relieve the possible stress . Also the new flange bearing (manufactured by David Cox) and insert was installed which should eliminate the possibility of the mounting stud vibrating and breaking off. The alternator field and power wires were reinstalled and the alternator belt adjusted and guard was installed.
