Brief Description: Install Control Yoke and Stick Bases
1118 - 1300
Install control yoke. I replaced the pivot bolts and nylon locknuts with drilled bolts, castellated nuts and cotter pins.
Torque bolts and install cotter pins.
Verify free movement of yoke.
The stick base fittings were filed to provide a smooth movement with no interference. The bushings were reduced in length using a Smithy Lathe. Edges were deburred and smoothed.
The internal bore of the stick bases was cleaned and Super Lube applied. Bushings were installed and verified to move freely in the fitting bore.
Install control stick bas fittings with specified hardware.
