Fabricate jig to hold control stick base to drill press table for drilling.
Clamp control stick base to drill press table.
Insert control stick in base.
Using digital level, position stick coplanar with table.
Drill stick mount hole using drill press and #12 drill.
Setup right side stick base.
When attempting to insert stick in base, noted that the control stick was deformed and out of round to the point that it would not fit in the base. Also noted substantial rust bubbling underneath powder coat. Will be calling vans on Monday for a replacement stick.
