Brief Description: Install Fuel Pump Doubler

1630 - 1818 Install tank in wing. Locate tank vent location on tip rib. Remove tank. Drill 3/8" hole for snap bushing at vent location. Install bushing. Install test piece of 1/4" tubing and B nut on vent fitting. Install tank, verify proper fit of vent line in bushing. Install AN822-4D fittings in fuel pump. Threads were sealed with Permatex #2 and clocked to position indicated in manual. Drill pre marked pilot holes in doubler. Clamp doubler to rib in proper location, match drill pilot holes in rib. Cleco pilot holes. Mark fuel pump mounting flange outline on rib. Layout rivet locations for doubler, drill each location with #40 drill, cleco as drilled. Final drill all holes using #30 drill. Drill pump mount holes for AN4 bolt. Verify pump location and clearance. Locate -4 nut plates on rib, match drill mounting holes using #40 drill. Machine c-sink nut plate mounting holes for flush rivets. Remove doubler. Debur and smooth all holes and edges.
