Enlarge stock fuel valve hole in top of tunnel using unibit for Andair handle mount.
Locate and drill mounting holes for handle mount using #12 drill.
Debur all holes.
Temporarily install Andair handle and mount in top of tunnel.
Remove left and right male AN fittings in valve.
Install 90 degree AN elbows in valve. Blue Loctite used on each screw.
After much deliberation, all fittings were installed facing forward. This will allow adequate clearance for nested fuel lines.
Temporarily install top of tunnel to locate valve. I decided to lower the valve mount approximately 1 3/16".
Mark a line 1 3/16" below stock mount for reference.
Drill out rivets holding stock mount.
Instead of bending a new mount, I decided to install .0625 x 3/4" x 3/4" angles on tunnel walls. This will facilitate mounting the valve to a flat piece of aluminum, and have the ability to remove the valve/plate from the top by removing 4 screws.
