Brief Description: Install Aileron Trim

1300 - 1454 Align and clamp aileron trim servo assembly to access plate. Match drill servo mounting hole into access plate using #19 drill, cleco as drilled. Remove clecos. Final drill nut plate mounting holes using #40 drill. Debur and dimple all holes for flush rivets and #8 screws. Cleco nut plates to servo mount. Rivet nut plates using p-squeezer. Install servo mount on access plate using #8 screws. Install aileron actuation centering jigs. Locate center of servo throw using 12V power supply and two 90 degree reference squares. Temporarily install trim servo assembly in wing. Verify aileron in zero position with jigs. Mark aileron pushrod at center of trim servo arm. Remove servo from wing. Remove aileron pushrod. Locate and drill holes in pushrod per plans. Debur holes. Rivet spring attachment angles to pushrod using LP4-3 blind rivets with p-rivet puller. Install pushrod in wing. Install pushrod hardware, torque and safety with cotter pins. Attach springs to angles. Using a piece of safety wire, temporarily tension springs. Trim servo will be permantly installed after wiring and painting is complete.
