Brief Description: Fabricate Aileron Pushrods

Fabricate aileron pushrod.
Cut 1 1/4" tube to length, 2x.
Debur and smooth edges using debur tool, bench sander, s/b wheel.
Cut 1/2" 4130 tube to length, 2x.
Debur and smooth edges using debur tool, bench sander, s/b wheel.
Debur aileron and flap bellcrank arms.
Clean all parts using acetone, inside and out.
Prime all threaded inserts and ends.
Prime inside of all tubes using P60-G2 primer. Plugged end of each tube with rubber cork and filled with primer. Started with 250 ml of primer. Plugged other end of tube. Inverted and rolled tubes multiple times, back and forth to ensure all interior surfaces were evenly coated.
Removed plugs, drained remaining paint, and stood tubes vertically to drain. Used remaing primer for next tube. Rotated draining tubes several times. Ended up with about 100ml left over when all tubes were complete.
Tubes will now sit for several days to dry completely.
Primed inside of all bellcrank arms using same procedure. I taped around the outside to cover pre drilled holes. This prevent primer from getting all over everything.
