Note: Modified skin slightly to facilitate pin removal and insertion. I plan on replacing the pin with a Stainless .090 pin. Bend top of pin to allow gripping the pin.
Rivet hinge frame to skin, structure, using 3x gun, p-rivet puller.
Install door on hinge, insert pin.
Install SS striker plate using AN525-10R7 screws.
Cleco left baggage cover to structure.
Match drill the top 4 holes to bulkhead flange using #30 drill.
Final drill all common holes using #30 drill, cleco as drilled.
Match drill bottom flange holes in the baggage floor using #30 drill.
As before, the nut plates were already installed in the QB kit. I decided to drill out the rivets and proceed with the plans as indicated.
Final drill the nut plate mount holes using #40 drill.
Remove cover panel.
Debur all holes.
Dimple #40 holes for flush rivets.
Install insulation on skin behind cover panel.
Cleco cover in position.
Rivet cover to hinge frame using p-rivet puller and blind rivets.
Rivet bottom flange to floor using p-rivet puller and blind rivets.
Rivet cover top 4 holes using p-squeezer.
Rivet nut plates in position using p-squeezer.
SECTION COMPLETE excepta door lock and weather seal around door.
