Brief Description: Transfer Fuselage to Hydraulic Table Lift

Attach previously fabricated caster supports to table lift.
Attach casters to supports. Casters are 300 lb casters x 6 for a load capability of 1800 pounds.
This table will allow raising and lowering the fuselage with ease. Table top was increased using 3/4" plywood 32 x 48. The plywood was topped with 1" pink foam and carpet to protect the fuselage from scratches and dents. The table was centered on the fuselage bottom stringers and positioned to get as much contac area as possible.
I modified a table saw outfeed roller stand to support the tailcone. The stand was modified by removing the roller and adding a 5 x 22 plywood "U" with semicircular pivot mounts. The inside of the U was lined with pink foam for fuselage protection.
Using the stand and hydraulic table, it is very easy to position the fuselage vertically at almost any height while keeping it level.
Once the new table was ready, we removed the tailcone support from the original dolly and replaced it with the modified stand. I was able to lift the fuselage from the firewall in order to slide the dolly out and the table lift in. It was then centered. I used two eyebolts through the wooden spar spacers to attach a strap around the table top. This will prevent the fuselga from sliding on the top.
