Locate and layout seat floor access panel, left side. This panel will allow access to the com antenna BNC connector.
Shear 032 aluminum to size of access plate, 4.5" x 4.75".
Draw center lines on panel.
Locate panel on floor with centerlines in pre punched holes.
Match drill 4 holes, one near each corner, using #30 drill. Cleco holes as drilled.
Trace panel outline onto floor.
Layout two holes 5/16" from forward and aft edge of panel, 1" inboard of centerlines previously drawn.
Draw access opening lines 5/8" inside outline.
Locate and drill corners of opening using unibit, to 1".
Remove center of access hole using air nibbler.
Debur and smooth edges of hole using file, bench sander, s/b wheel.
Fabricate two stiffeners from 025 x 5/8 x 5/8 angle, debur and smooth edges.
Cleco floor to structure.
Align stiffener edge with edge of acces hole in floor, clamp in place.
Match drill holes into stiffeners using #30 drill.
Cleco two k1100-06 nut plates to stiffener and match drill mount holes using #40 drill.
Cleco k100-06 nut plate to appropriate punched holes in ribs, match drill mount holes using #40 drill.
Remove clecos.
Final drill center holes for k100 nut plates using #28 drill.
Final drill holes in access panel using #28 drill.
Dimple all #28 holes for #6 screw.
Dimple all #40 nut plate mount holes for AN426 rivets.
Dimple center hole in rib andfloor for AN426 rivet. this is the punched rivet hole between the two k1100 nutplates in each rib.
Repeat all steps for right side.
