First step was to locate and mount the ANL current limiter to the firewall. Several locations were considered but the final choice allowed for ease of initial wiring and more importantly, maintenance access. The fuse holder was mounted to the firewall with 10-32 SS hardware.
Using #4 AWG Tefzel cable, fabricate cables connecting the solenoid to the main battery cable, the main battery cable to the fuse holder, and finish the B lead from the alternator to the fuse holder.
All cable ends were attached to the cable using a hydraulic crimper. Double layer heat shrink tubing was used to cover the crimps.
