Brief Description: Install Main Starter Cable and Ground

Fabricate wire conduit supports from 032 sheet.
Locate and match drill fuselage sides for supports.
Debur holes.
Dimple holes for flush rivets.
Rivet supports to fuselage side skins.
Install snap bushings in supports, 6x.
Feed wire conduits through supports.
Clock and crimp terminal lugs to #2 AWG main cables using an 8 ton hydraulic wire crimper. A test crimp was made and pull tested by fastening the lug to a 500 lb steel lift table and dragging it across the floor. Also, the first lug was crimped and then sectioned with a bandsaw to verify the crimp. It was almost impossible to resolve individual strands of the cable within the crimp.
Fabricate Adel clamp mount from 063 x 3/4" angle.
Install nut plates to clamp mount using p-squeezer.
Install clamp mounts to pre existing holes in longerons. Holes were for the forward mounting of the rudder pedal torque tubes.
Clock the mount tangentially to the cable and install Adel clamp using #8 AN hardware.
