Brief Description:
Rivet Empennage Attach Elevator Pushrod, Trim Serv
1154 - 1321
Verify pushrod tube internal primer was completely dry.
Install threaded end to pushrod tube, cleco into position.
Rivet threaded ends using MSP-42 rivets pulled with p-puller, 12x.
Install pushrod into tailcone, bolt to elevator horns and bellcrank.
Check for maximum elevator travel. Full Up = 29.5 degrees. Full Down = 26 degrees.
Secure elevator in trail position.
Fabricate bellcrank angle template from 3/16" MDF.
Adjust pushrod end bearings to comply with template. Required lengthening by 1/2 turn on each bearing.
Tighten Jam Nuts.
