Brief Description: Attatch Elevators to HS

1424 - 1536 Chuck e-drill bushing in drill press and sand until fit in elevator center bearing was obtained. Insert e-drill bushing in elevator center bearing. Secure elevator in trail position. Match drill left elevator horn through e-drill bushing. Remove left elevator from HS. Final drill elevator horn using 1/4" drill. Debur hole. Install jam nuts onto rod end bearings and install rod end bearings into right elevator per plans. Mount right elevator to HS. Verify maximum elevator travel for right elevator. Secure right elevator in trail position. Insert e-drill bushing into elevator center bearing. Match drill elevator horn with e-drill bushing. Remove right elevator. Final drill horn using 1/4" drill. Debur hole. Mount both elevators on HS. Install AN4 bolt through center bearing and horns, using adequate washers between hinge brackets and bearing. Secure both elevators in trail position. Identify most aft elevator horn.
