Layout the nose gear leg fairing template, transfer cut lines to f/g.
Remove sections of leg fairing specified in plans.
debur and smooth edges of fairing.
Test fit leg fairing.
Install 1/2" spacers on gear leg to position fairing.
Scribe intersection of leg fairing and wheel pant using 1/8" spacer.
Remove fairing.
Grind fairing to scribe line.
Install fairiing.
Repeat 1/8" scribe and grind, removing a small amount of material each time. The goal is to remove enough material for the fairing to be supported by the spacer and have a nomial 3/16" uniform gap between the fairing and wheel pant.
