This session was spent finalizing the Discrete inputs and GP inputs.

I decided to connect the door switches in series such that ANY door pin that was not seated would generate a Master Caution and EFIS caution message. While routing the wires, I decided to add a swith to the baggage door frame. This switch is also wired into the series loop for the doors. With the addition of this switch, if any of the 4 door pins is not in position or the baggage door is not closed, a Master Caution will be generated.

I also removed the Left door discrete wire from the Discrete 2 position. This wire was then connected to ground to complete the series loop.

I then updated the GDU and LRU firmware using an SD card and Garmin instructions.

Next, I worked on the elevator trim wiring. I needed to swap the two motor wirse for the RAC servo so that an UP command on the VPX actually moved the trim motor in the UP direction. This also required me to swap the orange and black wires for the stick grip switch again. The stick commands now align with the VPX commands and the trim motor moves in the correct direction.

Next session will be to bleed the brakes...again.
