I decided to remove the forward mid tunnel cover and reroute the seat heater wiring through the previously installed conduits. I then reinstalled the tunnel cover.
Next, I worked on the two DB25 connectors. I prepared the wires for the connectors by stripping the insulation and adding a shield wire using solder sleeves. I installed the male pins on each wire. I then tried to install the wires into the DB25 backshells. I then found that I had not left a long enough wire length and consequently, could not get the wire bundle into the connector in a satisfactory manner. Sooo, I decided to clip the connector off and start again. This time I did leave a sufficient amount of wire so that the solder sleeve would be outside of the backshell. The wires were again prepared and the connector populated. I spent time developing a wire book page for the connectors for future reference. The wire bundle was wrapped with SV tape and the backshell was installed.
I then proceeded to start the second connector wiring. The wires were prepared and the male pins installed. Tomorrow, I will populate the connector.
