Install control stick grip wiring.

Continue with tunnel wiring.

Discoonect SCAT tube and secure out of way temporarily.

I split off the relevant wires to pilot stick, copilot stick, and flap wiring. In order to keep the wires organized and passing through the tunnel cover neatly, I modified a 1/2" 45 degree pvc elbow. A hole was drilled in the bend radius to allow the stick and flap wiring to separate from the mic/headset wiring and remain within the tunnel. The hole was sized appropriately and all edges deburred and smoothed.

The wire bundles were then passed through the elbow. This elbow will guide the wires through the tunnel cove to connect with the appropriate jacks.

I decided to use conduit and a conduit tee to route the wires whil within the tunnel. This will provide required clearances fro the rudder cables, elevator pushrod, and cabin heat SCAT. Using the conduit facilitates a stable, secure raceway for these wires.

Holes were drilled in the tunnel sidewalls for plastic snap bushings. Holes were deburred and the bushings were installed.

Next, two lengths of conduit were passed through the bushings and joined in the tunnel with a conduit snap tee. A short length of conduit was installed over the wire bundle from the elbow to the conduit tee. The individual wire bundles were then routed through the conduit and tunnel sidewalls.

An additional wire was passed fro the pilot side to the copliot side to enable an autopilot disconnect on the copilot stick as well as the pilot stick. This wire is colored white/black, and complies with the wiring diagram.

The conduit tee was then snapped closed. A small amount of E6000 adhesive was applied to the conduit where it passed through the snap bushing to secure it in place. E600 was also applied to the 45 elbow to maintain it's position and clocking.
