Install 8 pin Deutsch connector on fuselage wiring. This root connector is for the nav/strobe (4 wires) and recognition lights (3 wires).
Wiring is a s follows:
NAV
white/orange = nav (+) white/blue = strobe (+) white = sync green = shield (com)
RECOG
white/orange = not used white/blue = recog (com) = blue (in wing) white = recog (+) = red (in wing) green = shield
Next, the mating connectors were installed on the wing root wiring to match. The recog light wiring in the wing is a 20 awg, two wire shielded. These wires are red and blue, and run from the wing root to the wingtip.
