Rerouted roll trim position wiring to left wing, where servo is located.

Organize and tie wrap right side trunk harness.

The next task was to shorten the J10 and J12 connector wiring. This was necessary due to the VPX location. There was roughly 16" of extra wire for each connector and this became problematic. I decided to shorten the harness. I had Steinair send me a new J10 and J12 connector and corresponding sockets.

First, I separated the connector harnesses from each other. I then routed the J10 connector to it's location. The harness was marked for length. I then proceeded to cut one wire, crimp a new socket on the end, and replace the socket in the new J10 connector. Shortening one wire at a time and installing the socket in the new J10 connector allowed the sockets to be verified in their correct position. This task was accomplished for each of the 10 wires in the connector. The J10 connector then was installed in the VPX. This provided correct length for the J12 connector wiring.

I then completed the same tasks for the J12 connector, one wire at a time. This connector went quicker as several of the wires were coiled wild. These wires were just unpinned from the connector and reinstalled in the new connector.

Time was now spent organizing and tie wrapping the new trunk and branch harnesses.

Next will be to route the flap wiring and USB power through the tunnel conduit.
