Continue work on installing instrument panel and LRUs.
Due to wire lengths I decided to install the GTR 20 com radio on the top shelf of the rack. As there is a 3/4" support angle on the sub panel, a spacer was fabricated from U channel to elevate the radio and facilitate the Dsub connections. The spacers were fabricated using standard techniques.
The spacers were then riveted to the rack using LP-4-3 rivets.
The GTR 20 was then secured to the rack and spacer assembly using #6 hardware.
