Made extension leads for oil pressure and manifold pressure sensors.
I initiall used 16AWG wires but then realized that they were unnecessary and would not, in fact, fit in the required pins for the GEA24. I then used 20AWG twisted three wire for the extensions. The oil pressure sensor extensions were added using standard knife blade connectors. This allows ease of replacing the sensor, should it become necessary. The splices were staggered, and covered with heat shrink tubing. The the twisted bundle of splices was covered with heat shrink, and routed through the firewall.
The manifold pressure sensor extensions were fabricated in the same manner but insulated fast on connectors were used. As the splices were located within the cabin and behind the instrument panel, the bundles of splices was not covered with heat shrink tubing.
