Brief Description: Install Brake Mounts on Landing Gear
1454 - 1748
Preload nose wheel breakout force. Target was 26 pounds, actual preload is 27 pounds.
Debur and smooth all edges of brake mount plate, 2x.
Clean and prime mount plates.
Install axle flange and final drill using 3/8" drill, 2x.
Final drill mount holes using 1/4" drill.
Assemble Matco brake plate and Van's mount plate using specified hardware. The U-1008 spacers were replaced with machined billet spacers. Torque all bolts.
Install brake mount plate on main gear axle using specified hardware, torque bolt.
