Brief Description:
Right Side Door Handle
1548 - 1906
Using Vans, Planearound, and Aerosport instructions, install handle mechanism in right door.
Temporarily install door pins.
Install pin blocks.
Mark pins to be cut to length.
Remove pin blocks, pins.
Cut and polish pins then thread ends.
Install pins, pin blocks, and previously made pointed pin ends.
Install door on fuselage.
Position door in fuselage and mark the door channels using the door handle mechanism to drive the pointed pins into the fiberglass channels.
Drill door channels using #30 drill, increasing to 5/16".
Verify fit and operation of door mechanism.
