Geoff at Aerosport sent me some new trim rings to attempt to modify them for use with standard locksets. Worked on that for first part of session, I think it is going to work out. ACS sent me the matched key locks but the were not matched...go figure.
Cut pushrods per planearound instructions.
Tapped pushrod ends usinf 5/16 x 24 tap.
Fabricate two pointers per vans plans to locate the pushrod holes in the fuselage structure.
Install pointers in pushrods, pushrods in door.
Install door on cabin top.
Close door and position so door edge is flush with fuselage.
Actuate door mechanism to mark the door channels for drilling.
Drill door channels up to 5/16 to verify actuation and fit.
