Almost there! Today We worked on finalizing the door channel flange (again). Gap between door panel and flange is now 1/4" + 1/16"/- 0". Flange was ground and sanded using a dremel and permagrit/sanding bits. I fabricated a guide that was ty wrapped to the dremel to maintain a 1/4" flange thickness. Once all gringding and sanding was complete, all dust was removed cleaned up.
Flange is now about where I want it. There are several small areas the will require additional epoxy, flox, cabo mix. I will complete that tomorrow. Once that is complete, lightweight filler will be applied to smooth and finish inside of door channels.
