Using a random orbit palm sander with 80 grit paper, begin finishing inside of cabin top.
Once again, definitely NOT impressed with the glasswork...very wavy, bulges all over, strings, and boogers. Almost two hours of non stop sanding, and a long way to go.
Taking a break from it, I decided to install conduit around the windscreen support as many others have done...thanks E. Kranz! Looks as if 3/4" conduit will fit nicely. Unfortunately, that will be a trip to town. I plan on glassing it in, giving me a much more finished look than Vans glasswork. Also, time to order the overhead console. No sense in sanding areas that w ll be covered...
