Brief Description:  HS Tip Fairing

1342 - 1500

File right HS tip fairing to provide 7/32" nominal clearance with elevator counter balance.

Remove tip fairings.

Remove temporary rib.

Cover outside of rib with Tyvec tape to prevent epoxy from bonding to rib.

Install temporary rib using hot glue.

Mix epoxy and wet out two pieces of 9 oz cloth.

Apply wetted cloth over temporary rib, ensuring edge of fairing was completely wet.
