Brief Description:  Miscellaneous Taks

1630 - 1930

Several tasks were accomplished today.

First task was to secure the forwar tunnel cover using AN509 screws. This required lying in the footwells.

Next, I installed the new rudder pedal extensions. Again, this required lying in the footwells.

The baggage bulkhead access panel were completed with the installation of the skybolt fasteners. The bulkhead and panels were temporarily installed to verify fit.

The OAT probe wiring needs to be lengthened but I ran out of shielded three wire so that has been ordered.

The large firewall pass thorough was wrapped with fire sleeve and secured with a stainless Breese clamp.

The upper forward fuselage access panels were installed with several screws...temporary.

The brake fluid reservoir was completed with the removal of the barb fitting used for bleeding.

I removed approximately 10 cc of fluid from the reservoir to provide air space. The instructions recommend 1/4" from the top. Quick calculation s determined 10 cc should be approximately 5/16" from the top.

The sintered vent was installed. Loctite 567 was used to seal the threads.
