Today I spent figuring out why the aileron and elevator trim indicators could not be calibrated and showed red X's.

Long story short, the GDU was configured to use GP1 and GP2 for the elevator and aileron trim position input. The VPX, however, supplies that position information over the serial data line. What I discovered was that you must deselect the GP1 and GP2 inputs in order for the VPX to provide the information. Unfortunately, this leaves the GP1 and GP2 inputs available for Discrete use, and it was not necessary to rewire the connector.

Once this was done and checked, I started working on the rear baggage bulkhead access panel. The design was finalized and I began fabrication.

I need to order the skybolt fasteners to attach the panel. The angles will reinforce the panel, acting as a doubler. The covber will be attached with skybolt fasteners. This will allow ease of access to the batteries, contactors, and ELT. I will also mount the jump pack connectors behind this panel.
