Today I installed the new EFII harness in the firewall.
Fabricate another 063 aluminum doubler for the through firewall connectors. I decided to add another doubler to support the plastic connectors. Basically, the front doubler is 025 SS which sits on the forward side of the firewall. Next, there is an 063 aluminum doubler aft of the firewall. The connectors pass through these doublers. The third doubler is a slotted version so that thewires can pass through it. It sits on the aft side of the plastic connector to create a "washer" completely around the connector. Eight SS truss head screws were used to secure the connectors and doublers...Thank you Kyle, for the help in installing these.
It looks as if the new lengths are going to work fine...
