Brief Description:
Install Windows, ELT Mount
1536 - 1800
Install windshield fairing.
Today I removed all of the clamps and weights from the windshield fairing.
Remove all clecos.
Clean up excess windshield sealant.
Install large head aluminum blind rivets and washers to mechanically secure the fairing.
Next I installed the optional ELT mount using Vans kit.
Standard techniques were used to debur and match drill the mount to the fuselage stiffeners.
Standard techniques were used to secure nut plates to the mount.
The mount was then clecoed to the stiffeners and riveted using the specified blind rivets.
