I haven't been able to post the last couple of days due to computer issues. Kitlog would not allow me to generate any reports. Long story short, a complete windows reload followed by iterative installation of all program apps. The conflict was with the Epson printer driver...I can either be able to print labels or have kitlog generate reports but not both. At least I found the problem. I have emailed support at kitlog for a fix.

So the last few days I have been working on running the 2 awg starter cable and the 4awg main alternator B lead. It has been a challenge working in tight spaces and trying to avoid any chafe points but I think I have it worked out. The run will be similar to the way van's recommends it, between the sump and intake/exhaust tubes. I have used adel clamps on extension link per the plans.

Using the hydraulic crimper cable lugs were attached to the cables and then pull tested. The cables were then attached to the starter, starter contactor, and alternator. The cables were run and secured. I decided to use Tefzel wire as it is in the engine compartment and has a temperature rating of 150 degrees C (300F) versus welding cable that has a temperature rating of 105C (220F). The welding cable would have been much easier to work with.
