Due to the unsupported right side CF lower console side, actuating the bypass controls causes significant flex in the panel. I decided to fabricate a simple support for this area.
The support was fabricated from 032 sheet. Flanges were bent on the long sides for rigidity.
A nut plate was installed on the CF side and the rudder torque tube mid mount bracket was match drilled to the end of the support.
All holes and edges were deburred and smoothed.
Install support using 8-32 hardware. The CF side will be secured with a 6-32 screw.
