Using Permagrit tools and s/p, created a uniform door to cabin top gap of 3/32".
Once the gap was uniform, epoxy was mixed and applied over the gap in the areas where the door and cabin top were not quite flush. A smooth transition was achieved using flexible scrapers.
A tongue depressor was then inserted in the gap and pulled around the door edge to create a uniform gap in the epoxy.
The door was opened, and all excess epoxy was removed.
These steps should yield a smooth transition from the cabin top to the door surface around the entire perimeter of the door.
