Enlarged holes in door channels to accept the planearound 7/16" pins.
Fitted the planearound door pin blocks. Minor adjustments were needed and made with a bench sander.
Match drill pin block mounting holes to door channels using #11 drill.
Temporarily install pin blocks and pins.
Verify operation and clearances. The latch action is nice and smooth and does not warp the door.
Locate and match drill the planearound third latch block to the door channel using #11 drill.
Temporarily install latch block and cam latch.
Verify operation and clearances. Works great! Hopefully all the time spent achieving the uniform gap around the door will pay off now. I will be installing the mcmaster seal soon to verify door operation with seal in place.
Install gas strut bracket on right side of cabin top as detailed previously for the left side.
