Brief Description: Door Seal, Begin Door Handle Assembly
1500 - 1700
Cut two pieces of Mcmaster door seal approximately 2' long.
Mix epoxy, flox, cabo and partially fill seal channel.
Install Mcmaster seals on flanges. Remove excess epoxy.
Apply packing tape to door to prevent bonding.
Clamp door closed.
This task should yield a properly sized flange for the Mcmaster seal. Once the epoxy is set, I will remove the seal and apply additional epoxy around the rest of the door channel in the same manner.
Next I began fabricating the door handle mechanisn. Unfortunately, I seemed to have misplaced several small parts for the assembly. Went through every box and bin and could not find them...and I know they were inventoried. Oh well, a call to Van's will fix that.
