James and I measured the replacement Dynon heated Pitot tube lines to confirm they would both fit inside the tool during the flaring process. I tested the tool on one tube to make sure the 3/16" soft ally would flare OK. Once we were satisfied it would work, I measured and cut the tubes to size so that the silicon vibration damper would remain inside the mast with the Pitot tube installed. We then flared the tubes, deburred and polished with Scotchbrite to minimise any chance of the flares cracking and potentially leaking pressure.
