James and I removed the light, die ground the bulk of the Aerosil & epoxy away and layed up carbon fibre for reinforcement. Then we turned the tip over and filled the small gaps in the facets with Aerosil & epoxy. When this sets I'll us the router trimmer to profile cut another recess for the acrylic lens.
