I removed the port light, trimmed the epoxy, applied new tape to the light and replaced it. Then I applied a thick fillet of Aerosil and epoxy mix around the Nav light area and reinforced the reinstated wall with carbon. Later I'll remove the light again, hollow out most of the weight with the die grinder and add a layer of carbon in the fillet area for strength.
This might seem like a tedious way to do the job, but I wanted to set the landing light position to aim exactly right before I re-cast the walls and support brackets.
