I recycled the failed tank wall into reinforced intermediate baffles to stop sloshing and oil-canning during taxi. Later I'll cut flow-through holes for the fuel and trim the baffles so they fit slightly angled in the tank to encourage any water to run aft to the drain.
The tip tanks will be more or less self-supporting during flight and the weight is around the centre of pressure, but before takeoff there will be a lot of strain on the fibreglass with about 25kg of fuel in each wing tip.
