Tonight I mounted a power receptacle to the circuit breaker panel, then the two Perihelion Design Schottky Diodes to a piece of phenolic for mounting on the underside. The output side of the diodes will be connected to the TCW Independent Battery Backup System for power to the start circuit to energise the starter vibrator and alternator field in the event of a flat main battery, as well as emergency power to the Transponder. I may also power Comm # 2, but the current drain may be too high and I have a handheld radio to connect to the external antenna anyway.
I then soldered in the remaining brass studs and the jumper wires. I'll finish this job when I can obtain some 1/4" PIDG terminals.
