Tonight James and I finished turning the basic ground stud to pass through the firewall. Later on I'll turn 3/8" threads on both ends and used brass nuts. We cut a 0.120" silicone washer to fit between the stud and the firewall for vibration damping and corrosion prevention. I will need to bond the stud to a substantial part of the airframe.
