I decided to keep the track cover plate simple, so I re-taped the surfaces, waxed and applied another layup of carbon fibre in different orientations to build thickness. Later I'll trim and square everything off, then drill for nutplates. I used dacron peel-ply and some weights to help keep the layup conformal with the curves of the track and positioned a light to keep the temperature up overnight.
