I cleco'd the side skirts in place, then riveted the rear skirts. I then removed the 2" insulation tape and the protective film before re-applying insulation tape along the top edges of the side skirts. This is to stop Lexel sealant squeezing out onto the plexi when I install the side skirts permanently. I plan to scrape away as much Lexel as possible and finish the edge with Proseal, which is less pliable and less likely to crack the paint finish.
